Fiction as an important part of Chinese literature, it is for the students’ interest in reading, enrich their emotional world, deepen the historical, social, life, understanding, enhance literary accomplishment and aesthetic taste, a very important role. New Curriculum introduced novel and drama elective courses, designed for this purpose various publishers of fiction elective different materials, in recent years, a lot of people teaching Chinese novel study, but the study of fiction rarely selected text, personal thought research on novel selected text is necessary. Therefore, this paper intends to PEP elective teaching Chinese fiction - "Chinese novel appreciation" of the selected text to study in order to be able to make continuous improvement.This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part of the introduction, mainly on the research background, literature review, research significance and research methods to do a simple explanation. The second part, of the theoretical part of the discussion, a total of four sections, the first section is related to the concept of elaboration of language courses, language courses, including the nature of the relationship, the concept of compulsory courses and elective courses and between the two, and elective courses elective textbooks; Section II is the elaboration of language teaching materials, the preparation of the concept of including language textbooks, curriculum theory and language teaching materials; Section III discusses selected articles on language teaching standards, on the one hand on the syllabus or curriculum standards for election Wen elaborated standards, on the other hand some excerpts from remarks on selected text language educator standards; the fourth is on the history and current situation of Chinese Elective high school textbook construction to sort out, to learn about the development of Chinese language textbooks and elective status quo. The third chapter is the main part of the paper, mainly through the PEP "Chinese novel appreciation" and of Jiangsu, Shandong man version, language version, the number of selected articles teach Cantonese version of the four versions of the Chinese novel elective textbooks, paper source selection, select the text content, select the text layout, and editor of the concept in detail comparison, the PEP "Chinese novel appreciation" of selected text features and shortcomings, and summarizes the characteristics of the other four versions of the preparation in order to be able to have reference. The fourth chapter is the last chapter of the thesis, mainly for PEP "Chinese novel appreciation" selected text deficiencies, proposed to write some of their own proposals.I hope this issue can be written in the future of high school language elective reference materials play a role, but also hope that the Chinese novel Elective high school language teaching can be more perfect.
