Physics teaching is not only to develop and cultivate the students’ physical ability, but also need training on physical ability evaluation of the results. However, the examin ation and evaluation in the daily teaching, often only pay attention to scores of students, hope that through the scores to determine the ability of the students is good or bad, in fa ct, the development of this method can not well reflect the students’ subject ability, and also the requirements of physics itself and the spirit of the new curriculum standards is i nconsistent. Therefore, to effectively promote the development of students’ subject abilit y, it is necessary to study the evaluation of the physical ability.In view of this, the paper will firstly research on the function of physical ability evaluation which is used tests as carrier. It includes two aspects:the first part is the analysis of physics and the ability requirement according to physics syllabus of which points out the rationality of the ability requirement and also its deficiency; the second part is the evaluation of students’ academic ability by the tests such as Fuzzy Mathematics Theory, the implementation process and feedback of this evaluation under the guidance of related evaluation methods. Getting more hidden information from the examination performance which can provide more detailed and targeted studying feedback and guidance, promoting self-development and achieving the stimulated guiding function consist of in our paper.This study uses literature research method:questionnaire method and comparative analysis method.The main research work consists of six parts:The first part is the introduction of the research background. Departing from the existing problems which based on the current testing performances, we research the evaluation of the physical ability of students and put forward the researching purpose, significance, content and methods which combined with overseas and domestic research status.The second part is the discourse of the related classical testing theories and to point out the guiding significance of these theories.The third part gives out the capability types of physics by analyzing, contrasting and demonstrating.The-forth part puts forward the ability-oriented evaluation methods based on examples, according to questionnaire, introduction of the ability-oriented evaluation process and methods based on Fuzzy Mathematics Theory to make sure about the requiring physics curriculum competence during the whole study at school.The fifth part builds up a fully research design, data management solutions and statistical analysis of the testing result. This part gives out a detail description to the evaluation of the academic ability.The last part points out the deficiency of this paper and remaining problems about the whole research and data.By contrast, the ability-oriented evaluation methods put in this paper can not only offset the deficiency of the classical testing theories’evaluation but also satisfy the training requirement of New Curriculum and it can promote the development of the academic ability of students efficiently during teaching. In the Mathematical Modeling, Fuzzy Mathematics Theory can solve multifactor problems well and evaluate the abstract "ability" in a quantified way. The model also calculates simple and easy to operate and promote.Of course, some contents of this paper still can be improved well. Because of my limitation in physics I cannot analyze other subjects well and this model can entirely used in other academic ability evaluations. And because of the limitation in time and techniques, I can’t transform this model into an excellent operational software system. If it became true, the usage of this model would give the ability-oriented evaluation a better apply in reality and serve better for students and teachers.
