Entrance has become the focus of attention, college entrance examination scores have a direct impact on the community and the parents of the school’s evaluation. As a high school in Yunnan border areas, and high school students learning mathematics there are significant difficulties. How to solve the graduating students’ mathematics learning difficulties fundamentally, to find an effective teaching strategy is the border areas of high school mathematics teachers should face. This study using questionnaires and test methods, to understand the current situation of mathematics learning Jinghong City in grade three students, and students to explore mathematics learning difficulties mainly due to the data analysis; secondly, the analysis of the total students in grade three stages math review causes of learning difficulties, in order to grasp the learning theory, solving Polya theory and ZPD theory, the experimental study for a period of five months of grade three overall review stage, the aim is to find an effective strategy for the Middle School Mathematics Review stage.Research shows that: the main problems in Jinghong City, a grade three student learning mathematics are: lack of confidence in learning, not a strong interest in learning, lack of motivation and self-learning ability is weak. For a period of five months of teaching experiments show that: difficult for these students, the main strategy Middle School Mathematics Review Course stages are: step by step strategy to reflect the hierarchical teaching strategies and teaching strategies. Experiment 5 months improved results for students learning mathematics more obvious. With the curriculum reform to further promote the study of student self-learning ability of students to train and develop, reflecting the direction of education. I hope this study will become the starting point for the study of mathematics education in frontier minority areas, to provide some useful lessons for mathematics teachers frontline border areas.
