Research On The Development Strategy Of Yunnan Land And Resources Vocational College

With the increasingly mature of related theory about strategy and strategy management, the application has been widened. Currently many higher schools at home and overseas have been absorbing methods, techniques, thoughts and wits from this theory and exploring the sustainable development mechanism unceasingly for benign interaction between the internal and external resource of a non-profitable organization. If the thoughts of strategy and related theory could be ushered in the transformation of our higher vocational education, the native higher schools stand to benefit from which, by sorting out educational philosophy, figuring out and making full use of advantages and disadvantages with the actual need met.For which, the author made careful choices and conclusion to pave way for the theoretical basement of development strategy study. Considering the western land resources vocational colleges, this study took the Yunnan Land and Resources Vocational College(YLRVC) for instance and made a comparison with the Jiangxi College of Applied Technology. In this process, potential problems which may endanger the long-term growth and crisis which got ignored would be unearthed.Combining stakeholder analysis with SWOT analysis, proposal about the development strategy of Yunnan Land And Resources Vocational college(YLRVC) consists of three steps “strategy analysis” “strategy formulation” and “strategy implementation and evaluation”. Yet these steps are progressing and dynamic circulation instead of summarized results, then with the continuous changing interior and exterior circumstance as well as the periodical strategy evaluation, acute strategic adjustment should be made to grape the opportunities, highlight the school characteristics and promote the core competence.Case study method, comparative study method, text analysis and SWOT analysis were employed. In this study, the author sought further besides development strategy advice for a specific vocational college, also supply different regional industry higher vocational colleges with multilateral angles. Meanwhile, with the purpose of better services for students, keener corporation with the local industry, the development strategy would be designed in this study for reference.
