Objective: though currently there are many research on learning adaptability, parenting style, but the study on the relationship between primary school for migrant children’s learning adaptability and parental rearing pattern is rare, far can not meet the needs of solving practical problems and theoretical research development, which provides good breakthrough point and the innovation of research. From the primary school of migrant children’s learning adaptability and parental rearing patterns were examined to understand the status of primary school, learning adaptability problems of floating children and parents rearing styles, discuss the relationship between the two, aiming to provide a reference basis for taking the measures of education, to promote the student comprehensive healthy development.Methods: on the basis of previous studies, uses is revised by Zhou Bucheng of East China Normal University and others "learning adaptability test"(AAT) and Chinese scholar Yue Dongmei revision to EMBU table 287 students in grade five or six of Kunming city Guandu District Vanguard Road Primary School were learning adaptability and parental rearing styles, finally get 279 effective questionnaires. Finally, all the data into the computer, using SPSS18.0 software package for the statistical analysis of the results.Conclusion: 1.the level of development of learning adaptability of migrant children in Kunming city is low, generally lower than the national norm. Adaptability of girls were significantly higher than that of boys. 2.The floating children in Kunming City, parental rearing patterns showed relatively cold, harsh trend in general, many factors that negative parental rearing patterns, rearing factor positive and less.3. Parental rearing style factor and learning adaptability of 9 volume table of contents were significantly correlated in many aspects. Father and mother’s rearing style interaction affect the healthy growth of the students. Emotional warmth and understanding of father and mother helps to improve the flow of children’s learning adaptability; severe punishment, father and mother’s over interference and rejection is not conducive to children’s learning ability to adapt to the increasing flow.
