With the rapid development of economy and continuous progress of society, the emphasis extent of people on education becomes increasingly higher. Of which, it includes preschool education. People realized that as basic education, preschool education plays extremely important role in the process of overall education; they also perceived the important influence of preschool education on infant development. It directly stimulated the continuous increase of quantity demand on professional talents of preschool education, and the major of preschool education also became one of the majors with high employment rate. As to students of preschool education major, it is an excellent opportunity and enormous challenge. However, good and bad kindergarten teacher are intermingled at present with low professional level and deficiency in professional quality, thus it has become the important factor impeding the development of preschool education. In addition, it has put forward requirements on institutions cultivating kindergarten teacher. As one junior college education form on preschool education in China’s regular higher education, the objective of higher vocational education is to cultivate technical talents with strong technical application ability, extensive knowledge scope and high quality targeting at adapting to social requirements and cultivating technical application ability. How to improve teaching quality, reasonably set courses, improve the quality of instruction teachers and endeavor to improve students’ professional quality, thereby cultivating qualified kindergarten teacher for social development has become the issue needing to be paid particular attention to by higher vocational colleges. Meanwhile, it is also the focus of social concern at present.Taking this as orientation and selecting students of preschool education major of School of Humanities and Art of Yunnan College of Business Management as research objects, this paper conducted research on pre-service cultivation issue. It mainly applied survey method and case analysis method to conduct statistics and analysis on pre-service cultivation issue of preschool education major of School of Humanities and Art of Yunnan College of Business Management. In addition, it carried out in-depth discussion and analysis on the status and existing problems. It is found that such college mainly has the problems such as inaccurate positioning on talent cultivation target, difficulty in education organization implementation, low teachers’ conditions, single qualification certificate cultivation channel, deficiency in practical training base, inadequate use of teaching equipments and unscientific course setting in pre-service cultivation. After research, it proposed the countermeasures including accurately positioning cultivation target, streamlining organization management, allocating specialized teachers, gradually establishing occupational qualification certificate training system, resolving geographic restrictions to expand the quantities of practical training cooperation units, increasing teaching equipments and scientifically setting curriculum schemes to resolve the problems existing in pre-service cultivation of such college.
