The purpose of Chinese subject examination and evaluation system is not only to investigate students? completing degree on course target, but also to inspect and improve students? learning situation and teaching activities, perfect course design and teaching process, with the hope of promoting learners? proficiency efficiently.. Thereinto, the test papers designing is a crucial step in the examination and evaluation system. The system in Xinping County is mainly presented with finality. To be specific, it is a unified examination which transferred from towns autonomic designing formerly, besides, the designing guideline now is stressing on the combination of knowledge and humanistic literacy, instead of knowledge-centered form.In this paper, the integrated methodologies of documentary method, statistical analysis method, graphical method, comparative analysis method and experience summary method are employed to conduct a study on Chinese subject test papers in past 7 years(2007- 2013) in mid-period of primary school in Xinping county. The paper sets the test papers of grade3 and 4 as main bases, analyzing the papers systematically in different items. Based on the sampling analysis on test results of subjects in 2013 chosen from Laochang and Gasa, which are two ethnic minority towns, to analyze and summarize the features and existing problems, and explore the possible factors accounted. By combining with the new course standard and students? features, the possible solutions on how to improve the paper designing of primary schools in ethnic minority towns, with aspects of oral tests and written tests.The paper consists of 3 chapters: introduction, main body and conclusion. The first chapter works out the bases of title choosing, background and current situation of the research, literature review, as well as the research goals, value and methodology. And the main body is divided into 4 parts. By starting with Chinese Curriculum Standards of Compulsory Education and international teaching material of Jiangsu Education Press, the chosen papers are analyzed with different item in aspects of forms and contents. The second chapter presents the weakness of students? language proficiency, based on the sampling analysis. While in third part, with a general evaluation on papers based on the previous analisy, the papers? features and problems, and the subject and objective factors would be shared. The last part proposes possible solutions by combining course standard and students? features. The chapter 3 mainly focuses on drawing a conclusion of this paper.
