Research On The Group 's Work Intervention In Sexual And Reproductive Health Education Of College Students

In recent years, sexual and reproductive health education for college students draws much attention of the whole society as their take tolerant attitude towards premarital sexual behavior, as their unmarried cohabitation and unmarried pregnancies and the rate of abortion have been increasing and the HIV infection rate represents that it is highly infected and found increasing among young people.However, for a long time,sexual and reproductive health education for college students is seriously ignored by society, schools and families. College students are in the mature stage of youth development which is a key period of their education of sexual and reproductive health. It becomes a serious problem how to educate college students about sexual and reproductive health and help them calmly face with troubles of love and sex appearing in the process of growth.In order to provide scientific and proper sexual and reproductive health education for college students,This research focus on discussing the feasibility and effectiveness of group work applying to sexual and reproductive health education for college students. First of all, Taking J University as an example, this research discusses the practice of group work intervention on sexual and reproductive health education for college students by using questionnaire combined with interviewing,analyzing the current situation of their such education and their objective demands of sexual and reproductive health. Then,This case of ‘taking about affection and sex’ of the group named sexual and reproductive health education for college students applying group work to sexual and reproductive health education for college students, designed 8 group work practices and made performance evaluations. At last, summaries and reflection for practice.This study shows that group work have greatly improved knowledge of college students on sexual and reproductive health and have learned some living skills well.It urges college students to think about healthy and positive values of sex. It also indicates that it is effective and feasible that group work intervenes in sexual and reproductive health education for college students. It is a good reference for other universities to do research of sexual and reproductive health education. And meanwhile,the shortcomings should drawn our attention. It also needs some other methods such as community work and case work to guard youth and health ofcollege students and to provide sexual and reproductive health education for them in a more extensive range.
