Personal pronouns look quite simple,but actually they are a very important kind of words we use frequently in daily life.Personal pronouns have very important function in communication,meanwhile,researches about Chinese personal pronouns are quiet sufficient.In the beginning level of Chinese as a foreign language teaching,students have been taught the basic personal pronouns“我”、“我们”、“你”、“你们”、“她”、“他”,but this part hasn’t been taken as an important point,and teachers haven’t pay enough attention to students’errors in this part.In this essay,author aims at teaching Chinese personal pronouns to foreign students,and use the primary school students in Korea International Christian School as samples,trying to find out the difficulties and focus in Chinese personal pronouns teaching for foreigner students,and then give out useful teaching suggestions.This paper is divided into five parts:Introduction part explains purpose and significance of this essay, summarizes all the previous research on this topic, which includes research in linguistic part and in Chinese teaching part.The first chapter analysis the teaching backgrounds from three different sides: learner,teaching environment, and teaching materials.The second chapter is survey and survey analysis. In this chapter, author first analysis the related works about the survey, the contents of the survey. And then report the results and statistics of the survey.The third chapter is error analysis. According to the result of the survey, author summarizes students’ error types in Chinese personal pronouns. And then give out the possible causes for each kind of mistakes.The last chapter based on the error types give out suggestions for personal pronoun teaching in the beginning level of Chinese as a foreign language education.
