The Flipped Classroom changes the traditional classroom teaching model. It makes students learn new knowledge at home by videos and materials. The homework in the traditional classroom teaching model, such as exercises, inquiry activities, group activities, and etc., becomes the main content during the class. The students will finish all the activities with the teachers’ guidance by using the knowledge which they learnt before the class. The Flipped Classroom benefits personalized teaching and procedural knowledge learning. Which is the most important is that students will become the leader of their own learning.First, this research teases the theoretical frame of the Flipped Classroom by searching and analysing materials. Then, this research concludes the problems which exists during the implement. After that, the research tries to design a Flipped English Class for primary students and finally puts it into use. At last, this research offers some reliable strategies for teachers who want to flip their classes.Part 1:Introduction. The research is based on the second education reforming which is pushed by the development of the technology. It aims at offering the strategies by using the document research and the case research.Part 2: Definition. The Flipped Classroom is a kind of teaching model. The teachers let students learn the knowledge before classes by providing videos and materials. And then, the teachers help students use the knowledge by preparing group learning activities, cooperative learning activities, inquiry learning activities and etc,. At the same time, the teachers help students solve the problems and guide them to deepen their understanding. The Flipped Classroom Teaching Model includes designing, preparing, implementing and rethinking.Part 3: Theories. The Flipped Classroom Teaching Model is based on the active learning theory, the blended learning theory and the cognitive learning theory. It starts in the colleges and now it is used in the primary education more often. According to the materials, the using of the Flipped Classroom model faces the problems of lack of the designing of the activities, the students-centered concept and the students’ autonomy.Part 4: Designing. An instructional model for the Flipped Classroom Teaching Model includes setting up a knowledge frame and the teaching aims, preparing the videos, designing the student-centred activities, enabling the diagnose and commenting.Part 5: Implement. Use the instructional model to design a complete flipped English class for the primary students in Shanghai. This class aims at the use of the adverbs of frequency.Part 6:.Strategies. After concluding the theories, designing the model and use the model, the research try to conclude the strategies which can be well used during the applying of the instructional model. They are: improving teachers’ comprehensive ability, completing the frame of the knowledge, designing the instructional task lists, producing teaching videos with high quality and enhancing the interaction of classroom activities.Part 7: Conclusion. Because there is no scholar or academic work tries to define the Flipped Classroom completely, it is hard for this research to collect information. Besides, the research has no chance to carry out the Flipped Classroom in a primary school after using the model to design an English class, so the conclusion still is imcomplete.
