Development of education is inseparable from the hard work of teachers, groups of teachers happiness for the development of China’s education has a very important meaning, how to improve the well-being of teachers is a matter of the whole society should be concerned about. With the study of contemporary psychology rise of positive psychology, happiness research has become one of the areas striking. Optimism and happiness are the important part of research in the field of positive psychology, also significant positive individual subjective experience. Explanatory style is one of the orientation of the current optimistic research. Individual explanatory style is closely related to mental health, and the impact of individual happiness, affect the individual satisfaction with life. In previous studies, the research on the relationship between explanatory style and happiness are mostly concentrated in the student population, and less concerned about groups of teachers, based on this, this study investigate the relationship between junior high school teachers to explain the proposed style and happiness.On the basis of this study explain the meaning of style and happiness, measurement methods are reviewed, through random sampling, for junior high school teacher in Shanghai to investigate. Firstly ! translated(M.Seligman) measurement explanatory style questionnaire and revised Chinese version of the questionnaire form, and the reliability of the questionnaire were tested. Then use the measured explanatory style questionnaire, Miao Yuanjiang comprehensive questionnaire happiness, for junior high school teachers to explain the relationship between style and well-being of research and study further verified through interviews ways. Further insight into the psychological status of junior high school teachers, middle school teachers as a guide to improve the level of optimism and happiness, and promote the healthy development of teachers provide reference information. The results of this study are as follows:First, the overall well-being of middle school teachers is low, low overall optimistic interpretation of junior high school teachers.Second, the junior high school teacher’s explanatory style in gender, age, taught grades, titles, and income exist significant differences. Junior high school teacher’s style does not explain the existence of a significant difference in whether or not as a teacher and education on.Third, the presence of junior high school teachers’ explanatory style and happiness significant positive correlation; interpreted positively predicted positive psychological well-being and subjective well-being, can negatively predict negative psychological interpretation of happiness and subjective well-being.According to the research results of junior high school teachers explanatory style is an important factor affecting happiness, the more optimistic the teachers, the higher happiness; the more pessimistic teachers, lower happiness. According to the survey results, this paper take advices from the school and teachers to enhance teachers’ sense of happiness.
