With the continuous deepening of the reform of the ninth curriculum, people’s attention to the textbook has become more and more intense. The upsurge of the comparative study of textbooks has risen in China. With the increasing of society informatization and globalization, education world is no longer limited to only compared to the domestic version textbooks. More and more people tend to compare to the textbooks in developed countries. In recent years, mathematics education reform in Singapore made significant achievements, even be ahead of the other developed countries. The research is on both sides of primary school mathematics textbooks for the comparative study of the system in two countrise, I hope I can learn a lot from each other, and do better promote the reform of the elementary school mathematics education in our country.This article mainly uses the literature method, the comparison method and the case analysis method and so on. And the author made a detailed comparative analysis of the Chinese textbooks and Singapore ” My Pals are Here” primary school Grades1-3 of mathematics textbooks. First, from the development context of the textbook and the current research status of mathematics textbooks, lead to the main purpose of this article, and then analyze the overall structure and main modules of the two countries’ textbooks. Researcher believe that China and Singapore primary school mathematics textbooks in writing of different, each one has its own merits.Through the comparison of the two textbooks, the researchers concluded the characteristics of the two edition of the textbook, hoping to provide reasonable suggestions for the compilation of textbooks in our country.
