In the early 20 th century, China has seen the eighth curriculum reform. As a result, the“curriculum standards” instead of the original “syllabus” as a teaching and assessment guidance document are to be enacted. Therefore, evaluation methods, evaluation of the content must be based on the curriculum standards and have consistency with the curriculum standards in order to make the curriculum reform develop smoothly.Inspired by Weber’s consistency analysis model, the thesis selected the junior high school biological academic level test papers of City J in Province S in 2014 and 2015. From the dimensions of the kind of knowledge, depth of knowledge, breadth of knowledge, the balance of the knowledge distribution, their consistency with the biology curriculum standards is discussed.Besides, the advantages, problems and some suggestions to improve the biological quality of classroom teaching and academic proficiency test are put forward. The thesis is divided into six parts, including introduction, a review of related concepts, analysis and coding, the level of academic papers coding biology curriculum standard and consistency of analysis, teaching and proposition recommendations and conclusions and outlook. The comprehensive study shows that most of the knowledge such as “biosphere green”,“biosphere” selected in academic proficiency test papers in City J in Province S have good level of consistency with the curriculum standards of the past two years judged from the angles of the type of knowledge, depth of knowledge, breadth of knowledge, the balance of knowledge distribution. It can be concluded that the papers proposition process focused on research in areas of content, questions and curriculum standards. But two academic proficiency test papers related to the knowledge of “the hierarchy of organisms” and “biodiversity” has low consistency level with the curriculum standards analyzed from the four dimensions of Weber models. Therefore, the paper proposition process of these two papers fail to grasp the curriculum standards accurately. Finally, based on the relevant literature and the above analysis, the author put forward suggestions for the teaching of biology, hoping to provide some help and advice to teachers and the paper proposition.
