Under the background of curriculum standard based curriculum reform, the research on the consistency of curriculum standards and evaluation is becoming more and more popular. There is a mature theory and a lot of practice in the curriculum standards and academic evaluation. While our country is still in the initial stage in this field, and the study of geography subject is very little. In this paper, the consistency between the test questions and the curriculum standard of high school geography education is studied.In this study, Potter’s theory of coherence is a research tool, and it is suitable for the reform of the geography discipline. The research object of the paper is to study the academic level of Liaoning Province in 12-14. From the content of the theme and the cognitive level of the two dimensions of Liaoning province high school geography test questions and high school geography curriculum standards of consistency analysis. The conclusions of the analysis are as follows:the consistency of the high school geography education level in Liaoning province 2012-2014. In the dimension of content and curriculum standard accounted for the largest proportion of the content of the theme "sustainable development", and 12-14 years learning test examination accounted for the largest proportion of content theme for the integrity of the natural environment in the motion of matter and energy exchange. The papers on the theme of "the integrity of the natural environment in the motion of matter and energy exchange, production activities and regional relation" content exceeded curriculum requirements, be highlighted in the paper. The curriculum standards and the "Earth" and "the application of geographic information technology" in the universe, "the overall and difference of the natural geographic environment," the three contents of the theme are better consistent. In the cognitive dimension, the curriculum standards and the test volume have been understood as the main, the understanding and the application is slightly less. On the whole, the change trend of the learning test volume is as follows:the proportion of the level of understanding, understanding, and the proportion of the cognitive level is increasing year by year.Finally according to the results of this study proposed conclusions are as follows:1. To strengthen the academic proficiency test and curriculum standard consistency 2. Strengthen the teachers on curriculum standards in the content of the standard and the cognitive distribution master. To strengthen the evaluation and feedback mechanism of 4.
