Research On The Training Mode Of High - Level Sports Teams In Colleges And Universities

Developing competitive sports in colleges and universities has also become a very important part since China proposed the strategy from sports country to sports power. At the present stage,236 colleges and universities have established their own high level sports team, which also shows they are the cradle of cultivating outstanding athletic talents. After thirty years of development, the delegations of Chinese College Students have reached the top three medals many times, but the gap is still very obvious between foreign university competitive sports talents and ours. Through careful analysis, the main cause lies in the management system of competitive sports in colleges and universities and lack of experience to tackle various problems and contradiction from the mode of training competitive sports talents.The thesis uses the relevant theories of Application Management Science, Sports Science, and also uses a few methods such as document research, questionnaire survey, expert interviews, logical analysis, and data statistics method and so on. In addition, it analyzes the model of cultivating competitive sports talents in Tianjin Polytechnic University. By analyzing the conflict of learning and training, the enrollment factors, the physical students’employment, the medical security problem of a high level sports team and the student’s competition qualification, the thesis draws the following conclusions.1. In terms of the model of managing college athletes, we should have the corresponding rules and regulations on the basis of Sports Specialty Students’current conditions, especially in teaching, daily training and competition. What’s more, in the reform of management system, it is necessary to overcome many problems from management of high level sports teams and cultivation of competitive sports talents.2. In terms of coaches of high level sports team, we should also have the relevant rules and regulations of the coaches of the competition, coaching staff, the evaluation of teaching. At the same time, it is indispensable to make coaches’round specialization and the rationalization of the structure.3. In terms of management mechanism of cultivation of college competitive sports talents, we should have the training target, the creative thinking in training and focus on the traditional advantages so as to conform to the international advanced science training.4. In terms of the hardware and software facilities, we should set up them strictly according to the guidelines of General Administration of Sport and the State Commission of Education. On the other hand it is necessary to co-operate with the local Sports Bureau and Education Bureau to improve health care, nutrition and food security for student athletes so as to guarantee the related conditions of establishing high-level sports teams.
