A Study On Practical Text Teaching In Senior High School

Texts of practicality are texts that are closely relevant to our daily life. After the new curriculum reform, its status is constantly improved; the proportion of Texts of practicality in the teaching material is bigger and bigger; besides, teachers and students attach more and more importance to it. Study on practical texts has a significant impact on teaching. This paper will analyze the investigation from the teaching of practical texts.The article mainly expounds from three aspects. First of all, the total generalization of practical text, this part is mainly focus on the concept of "practical text", the category of "practical text", teaching requirements of the "new curriculum standard" to practical text, the testing standard of examination syllabus to practical texts, the teaching significance of practical texts the five aspects. Secondly, the next part puts forward the problems of teaching procedures. This part mainly includes three aspects, namely unclear expression of new curriculum standard, the narrow scope of application and disorder of text selected, rigid test proposition, ignoring the practical text proposition in text reading and the teaching of writing. Last but not least, finding solving strategies according to the problems, this part mainly includes three aspects, namely clear expression of new curriculum standard, the sequence and diversity of text selected, flexible test proposition, and much attention to the importance of practical text reading and writing. Through the practical research of text selection and test, the students need acknowledge the connotation and significance of practical text with the help of teachers’ teaching and classroom learning and finally apply what they learn in the real life.
