At present, Shanghai Education version of junior middle school language teaching materials is a thematic group forms, this presentation focuses on the humanity of culture, but for students of writing training deficiencies. In order to improve the effectiveness of teaching writing in the classroom, writing theme unit must be effective design.Paper attempts to design and unit theme related writing teaching case. This can fully tap the curriculum resources, creative use of textbooks and between textbooks and students build a bridge, remedied the deficiency of textbook writing training. Teachers in guiding the case as a medium, writing guidance specific to the training of writing both in humanities motif of unifying, and training sequence and targeted, thus creating new ways of composition teaching reform, effectively improve students’ ability in Chinese writing. The thesis is divided into three parts:The first part, theme writing unit guiding case related concepts and principles of design. In this chapter, of "theme unit", "writing concept of guiding case" and "theme writing unit guidance case" was defined. And thematic units written case study illustrates the three functions: "inspiring students ’ positive thinking", "combination makes read and write complete", "implementation of writing."In the second part, theme writing unit guiding case content design. Main goals of design, including "theme", "writing goals" design; design process, including "knowledge is linked", "prelearning" and "Preview", "writing guidance" and "writing exchange" and "self summary sections; form design, mainly divided into the table format" and "chain" type two kinds.The third part, the thematic units written case study application. Teachers through the group, developed in learning; before class to guide, to carry out the preparation work; professor classroom instruction, carries on the method. Through the procedure of students, completing basic training; classroom learning, communicate summary according to summarize, modify and complete assignments. Application of thematic unit in writing learning advantage: make the traditional teaching mode, the students’ learning methods, teachers’ has been changed.
