The concept of life and death refers to the awareness of people’s life and death.Death and life are faced by every individual. As a special group of living organism,because they are endowed with sensitivity and awareness and with thinking therefore, to human beings, the meaning of “life” doesn’t refer to simply alive, "death" doesn’t refer to the ending of life. As human beings, they reflect more on “the reasons to be alive and to be deceased”, “how to be meaningful in life and death”,“how to lead a fulfilled life, and keep calm even facing death”. Because of the difference in individual’s living circumstances,social relationship and personal subjective condition, people’s view of life and death are also different. Overall, the outlook on life and death can be divided into two categories: the positive one and the negative one. Positive view of life and death makes the life be full of vitality and enhances the survival value; negative view of life and death, will make life increasingly decline, even lead to unpredictable extreme. One of the tasks of school moral education is to cultivate students to construct a correct view of life and death from the youth, so that everyone can live meaningfully,can die worthily. Therefore,this study aims to primary and secondary school students in the life and death view education as the research object, through researching the primary and secondary school students, it aims to find out the problems of their view of life and death and put forward specific school education strategy from the point of view of moral education to help them form a scientific view of life and death, to achieve a meaningful value of life.The essay firstly points out existed problems in the view of life and death of students in primary and middle school and the problems of education about the view of life and death among primary and middle school students. It further introduces the reasons for the selected topic and the meaning of research, and it combines development of Chinese and western view of life and death and research development of the view of life and death education as the basic sort. Secondly, it defines the related concepts, and points out that life as the major content of “alive” is extensive with types of existence, growth, and living. Life contains natural life, intelligence life and spiritual life. Death mainly refers to physical death, spiritual death and death in awareness of setbacks. Scientific view of life and death lies in the process of constant struggles with death and to help students realize the value and meaning of life. And then it analyzes Chinese and western scientific view of life and death, in order to provide the basis to the problems existing in primary and middle school students and suggesting education strategies. Thirdly it analyzes the current problems of the primary and middle school students. It mainly manifests in the indifference of "life" and lacking of knowledge of "death", self sacrifice because of lacking of capacity, "once and for all" because of weak willed and the death of spirit because of bitterness;The causes of these problems are the alienation of the concept of life and death,separation of morality and view of life and death, and goal dislocation, contents vacancy and improper methods in school’s view of life and death education. Finally, it builds up the goal pursuing the unity of knowledge, emotions, awareness and actions,with content given consideration to benevolence, righteousness, manners, and wisdom,methods combining correction of cognitive, emotional temperament, willpower exercising behavior training primary and middle school scientific view of life and death education strategies.these methods can make students feel loving and being loved, they can establish the significant relationship with others. Students can learn how to choose wisely according to their own situations and overcome the unhealthy tendencies of the body,mind, and action between righteousness and profit, reason and desire, then establish scientific concept of life and death.
