In recent years, with the continuous expansion of graduate student recruits,interdisciplinary graduate student team also is growing, education as one of the important subject, there is obvious cross phenomenon. Span across the examinee not only exists in the first level discipline, some even are across to the education from science and engineering,which is a “big change”. Although interdisciplinary graduate students have the advantage of multiple disciplines background, they know less of knowledge structure, way of thinking, and employment situation of education.Different enrollment motivations will make an effect on learning, living and employment in the future. Therefore, understanding the motivation and its influencing factors of interdisciplinary graduate students has the important theoretical and practical significance for correcting the motivation, promoting interdisciplinary graduate students to be better and more comprehensive.In view of this, this study includes a questionnaire about enrollment motivations of pedagogy postgraduates with the interdisciplinary background, regarding pedagogy postgraduates with the interdisciplinary background from Shanghai Normal University, East China Normal University, ZheJiang Normal University as the main research object, and adopting questionnaire form for the graduate as well,understanding and analyzing the status of the motivation of pedagogy postgraduates with the interdisciplinary background and its influencing factors through questionnaires and interviews, and then putting forward the corresponding measures and suggestions under the push and pull theory and the rational choice theory as theoretic support.The conclusion is as follows:1 、 The motivations of pedagogy postgraduates with the interdisciplinary background are composed of a variety of integrated, including four main entrance motivations, "for a career in education", "in order to a better job, "a higher degree"and "for self-improvement in various abilities".2 、 The motivations of pedagogy postgraduates with the interdisciplinary background are different on variables.(1)There are six different sexual variables,which are “For being a teacher”, “For a better school”, “Chasing for pedagogy”,“laying a foundation for a Master’s Degree”, “Meeting parents’ or others’ expectations” and “For a better wage”.(2)There are four different variables of fresh graduate, which are “Chasing for pedagogy”, “Avoiding employment pressure”, “For a better school” and “Expecting to stay in cities”.(3) There are two different variables on working experience, which are “For being a teacher”, “Avoiding employment pressure”.(4)There are six different variables on interdisciplinary span, which are“For being a teacher”, “For a better job”, "For a higher degree", “For a better school”,“Chasing for pedagogy” and “changing a major”.(5)there are five different variables on university, which are “Chasing for pedagogy”,“For a higher degree", “changing a major”, “For a better school” and "for self-improvement in various abilities".3 、 The motivations of pedagogy postgraduates with the interdisciplinary background are diversified and controlled by dominant one, 94% of them comprehensively consist of three or more than three motivations; the motivations in the goal, the education value standard and thinking process tend to be more rational,but there is also some irrational phenomenon that is the lack of comprehensive understanding of pedagogy, which caused part of the education resource has been wasted; the motivations have strong utilitarian color, while there is a serious shortage of academic color to education, the motivations are with some negative elements.4、 "Education is relatively easier " is the main influence factor for pedagogy postgraduates with the interdisciplinary background. There are some reasons. Firstly,Pedagogy has a lower threshold. Secondly, Pedagogy course exam is relatively easier.In addition, pedagogic entrance exam has a lower score to other disciplines. Finally,Pedagogic entrance exam without maths.5、The advantage of education industry and personal factors of the students cross the disciplines are the main factors influencing pedagogy postgraduates with the interdisciplinary background.6 、 The motivations of pedagogy postgraduates with the interdisciplinary background are composed of a variety of factors, the interdisciplinary behavior is the result of interactions of many factors, which include both internal factors and external factors, direct factors and indirect factors7、Suggestions:(1)Reform education enrollment system, and select professionals who are suitable for learning education. Perfect the training mechanism, and explore training methods for the characteristics of pedagogy postgraduates with the interdisciplinary background.
