The equality of Male and female college graduates employment is not only criticalto the rationality of the allocation of labor resources, but also the social stability and unity. This paper is to study whether there is differences in employment between the male and female college graduates, find out the reason and puts forward some corresponding suggestions with the survey about university graduates and employers and the first hand data for statistical analysis by the use of spss21.0 software.First we find that the employment situation is different between male and female college students according to the analysis of the questionnaire survey data from male and female college graduates.Performance as female graduates employment quality is not as good as male graduates when the individual characteristics of the female university graduates are no weaker than male college graduates, even the academic performance, preparation for employment and family income are significantly better in male university graduates. Through the analysis of the supply and demand of men and women college graduates in the job market, the differences betweenthe differences of demand of male and female college graduates influent theemployment between male and female college graduates. And with the investigation of the employer, we found the causes of the different employment situation of college graduates mainly include three aspects: envisagedproductivity, human resource scarcity and gender discrimination in employment, and the envisaged productivity to male and female graduates is the most important reason for the difference. The second is the scarcity of human resources,however the gender discriminationconcernedby the current social, may be overvalued in fact, although there is sex discrimination in employment, it is not serious, and both male and female college graduates are likely to suffer from gender discrimination. Finally, based on analysis of the differences between the male and female college graduates employment, the culture, economics and law in three aspects of countermeasures are put forward: in terms of culture, it is necessary to optimize the cultural atmosphere of the equality of men and women in university graduates employment; on the aspect of economy, the government should reduce the cost of hiring female college students, female university graduates themselves should strive to improve their human capital stock; in the field of law, the government should strengthen legislation, law must be correct.With the concept of envisaged productivityintroduced, a new perspective is opened up for the analysis of male and female college graduates employment status and have certain reference significanceto narrow the gap between male and female college graduates’ employment quality and promote the equal employment of male and female college graduates.
