In recent years, the emergence and popularity of the new media based on the network technology platform has become an important way for people’s daily communication and access to information. Along with the new media tools such as micro channel and the popularity of microblogging, middle school students have become the force in the use of new media. In the middle school education management, the new media has realized the convenience of communication between the teacher and the parents, the teacher and students and the students each other in time and space. Some network learning resources, such as micro class, open the students’ perspective and become a new education and learning style; The popularity of chat tools broadens the students’ communication range in recent years. On the other hand, the impact of new media to middle school students is not only reflected in the change of behavior, but also in controlling the influence of the students’ ideology because of the diversity of the new media. In order to pay more attention to the moral education of middle school students in the new media era, this paper will do the research to reflect the advantages and problems of new media in the middle school moral education from one side on the basis of existing research, using questionnaire and interview method. It drew the following conclusions through analysis: The society supervision in the process of middle school moral education management is not enough; The content and method of middle school management are conformist; Families lack of regulatory roles in the management of middle school moral education. Based on the above research, this paper carries on the analysis to the new media through its advantages and problems. It focus on how to make rational use of new media, avoid weaknesses, and play the positive role in middle school moral education from the aspects of society, schools, teachers, families and students. It hopes to provide a good media to minimize the occurrence of adverse and negative effects on the network of new media through the joint efforts of society, schools, teachers and families and really make the era of science and technology play a positive role in using the new media.
