Purpose:With the gradual promotion of "campus football", the study of the advantages and disadvantages of the football game on campus is also carried out. Football can be successfully carried out in primary and secondary schools, the football game on the health of primary and secondary school students have any effect. This paper in Yangzhou City Economic and Technological Development Zone experimental junior middle school students as the research object, in physical education on the part of the students’implementation of 10 weeks football exercise intervention, explore in the campus of junior high school students to carry out football, and football for junior high school students’physique health effects, the campus football at school smoothly to provide quantitative experimental data reference and scientific theoretical basis.Method:The literature data method, experimental method and mathematical statistics, the Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone Experimental Middle School Grade two class of boys as the experimental object, the size of each class the same (30 in the control group, the experimental group 30 people), experimental group, each of three PE class the whole class football, football match in recess rest or Saturday, Sunday time to organize small simplification rules to ensure the students in the experimental group week in, week out of football in the number of 3-5 times. In the control group,3 PE lessons were carried out according to the normal syllabus. Football before intervention were tested their body shape indexes (height, weight, body mass index (BMI) and body fat percentage); body function indexes (vital capacity and step test); in the physical quality target (grip and back strength, standing long jump,50m,1000m, sit and reach). After 10 weeks of football after the intervention, the control group and the experimental group were more than the physical health indicators of the test, the test before and after the test of all the data using statistical software SPSS analysis.Result:(1)Physical shape,10 weeks of football after the intervention, and before the experiment, the experimental group students’height, weight were significantly increased (P< 0.01), the control group students’height and weight was significantly increased (P< 0.01), and their growth rate had no significant difference (P> 0.05); 10 weeks of football after the intervention, the experimental group and the control group, the BMI index showed no significant change (P> 0.05); the experimental group and the control group of the body fat rate were significantly decreased (P< 0.01), and the experimental group body fat rate lower than the control group, and there was a significant difference (P< 0.05).(2)Physical function and 10 weeks of football exercise intervention, compared with before the experiment, the vital capacity of the students in the experimental group had significantly increased (P< 0.01), the control group students lung capacity had no significant change (P> 0.05). In the experimental group and the control group students vital capacity weight index showed no significant change (P> 0.05); experimental group of step test index have significantly increased (P< 0.01), the control group of step test index no significant change (P> 0.05).(3) Physical fitness:10 weeks of football after the intervention, compared with before the experiment, the students in the experimental group the 50 meter race by experiment before 7.93+0.82 to 7.87+0.79, but no significant change (p>0.05), the control group students in the 50 meter race were significantly decreased (p<0.05); 10 weeks of football exercise intervention, compared with before the experiment, the experimental group 1000 meter race was significantly increased (p<0.01), the control group students in the 1000 meter race had no significant change (p>0.05); 10 weeks of football after the intervention, compared with before the experiment, the students in the experimental group back strength and standing long jump performance is very significant increased (p<0.01), grip BMI has been improved to a certain degree, but no significant difference (p>0.05), the control group students back strength increased significantly (p<0.05), but no increase in experimental group, no standing long jump Significant change (P> 0.05). The grip body mass index is significantly decreased (P< 0.05); 10 weeks of football after the intervention, compared with before the experiment, the experimental group sit and reach achievement have significantly increased (P< 0.05), the control group the sit and reach results have significantly decreased (P< 0.05).Conclusion:(1)Football has a certain role in promoting the growth of junior high school students, but there is no significant difference compared with other sports, but the role of football in reducing the junior high school students’body fat rate is significant.(2)Football can significantly promote the growth of vital capacity of junior middle school students, improve the level of experimental index, to promote the development and function of the respiratory system and cardiovascular system of junior high school students.(3)Football can promote the growth of physical strength, speed, endurance and flexibility of junior middle school students, especially for the improvement of endurance quality.
