Since the new century comes.the development of China’s modernization has being accelerate.The current society has higher demand of high quality and comprehensive development of talent.As a fundamental humanity,history subject plays a vital role of cultivation of modern citizens’healthy personality and the humanistic qualities.Under this background, ministry of education of our country enacted the "ordinary high school history curriculum standard (experiment)" as the basis of the current ordinary high school history curriculum reform in 2003.The new standard especially attaches great importance to the education function for developing students’consciousness of history and humanities accomplishment.and put "process and method" as an important dimension of the curriculum goal for the first time, emphasizes that students need to master the basic method of historical study, advocates them to analyze history problem from different angles, and to form the learning habit of independent thinking, develop the academic spirit of concluding from the documents, combining evidence with historical theory in the process of history.In addition, any independent discipline of study has its own system of a set of methods, so does the subject of study.As the saying goes:"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."History has its own unique, not only scientific methods but also some method of humanities are needed.Therefore, training students to master a certain of historical research methods is an important approach to improve their history learning ability.Historical method is refers to research methods of historiography, we cultivate high school students to master certain historical method in history teaching.doesn’t mean require high school students have to engage in rigorous academic research just like history researchers work,instead to take certain subject research methods to guide them to learn history knowledge,master rules of history and form historical thinking in the progress of learning history.The traditional historiography research of China is very particular about the use of historical research methods.Since modern times, the incoming of western historiography research methodology, especially the introduction of Marxism historiography method, makes the Chinese historical studies toward a scientific way.However, history is not a pure natural science, historical method is the combination of science and art, which requires historian to think in a unique way in study history. As important humanities,history subject of middle school is showing great significance on training students’ citizen consciousness and cultural literacy. Starting from this basis points,the paper tries to explore the improvement effect of history research methods to high school students history learning.In the process of researching this topic, we learned did the investigation and found that, currently many high school students are lack of adequate understanding in grasping the subject methods in learning history.Many history teachers ignore the importance of initiating the historical subject method, they’ re backward in thought of teaching and the way of education, don’t recognize the main body status of students in the history teaching.And such learning method cannot play an effective role of cultivating the formation of students’ consciousness of history, and historical thinking ability;The new curriculum requires change students’ learning style, cultivate the ability of cooperative research.However,the inquiry learning activities often become a mere formality.students still accept knowledge passively;In the social background leading by exam-oriented education.high school history subject is often in a secondary position. Students are forced to take the way of rote to cope with pressure of college entrance examination system, teaching evaluation tend to be utilitarian. People attach great importance to the results and ignore the development of the students, the education function of history subject cannot be reflected.To solve the problem of lacking of learning methods which existing in current high school history teaching progress, the article thinks that we can strengthen of instruction of subject methods in terms of the historical data of reading, evidence using, cooperative inquiry learning and evaluation of historical issues.Firstly, in terms of reading historical materials, students need to have the ability to extract key information,They’re also need to master the basic ways of collecting and sorting data in the conditions allow,and learn to identify the historical data preliminary;Secondly,while using evidence to solve problems, students need to learn to judge the value of historical materials,master the principle of "concluding with evidence","combining theory with materials", "single evidence cannot prove the conclusion", and finally find out the correct answer;Thirdly,we can guide students to carry on the historical cooperative inquiry activity, exercise them to improve their ability of autonomous learning;Finally,In the evaluation of historical issues requires students to master correct and flexible evaluation method, form their own understanding of history.
