The situated teaching theory is a teaching method that teachers create some specific scenes with emotional color and image as the main body in the process of teaching to arouse the students’ experience, so that it can help students understand the teaching material, and the students’ psychological functions can get the development. This paper use the situated teaching theory to research teaching design in’we are Chinese descent’ of social subject, in other words, it design teaching organization with using the teaching situation. This paper is divided into five parts, the main contents:First, in introduction part the paper research the background, summary of research methods and research from analysis the rationality of teaching design from the requirements of the new curriculum, teaching design and teaching situation in social subject; Secondly, research from Constructivism, Humanism and cognitive learning theory, and analysis the theoretical basis of topic implementation to understand the main knowledge of social subject and teaching design; Thirdly, investigate students’ knowledge about the ’we are Chinese descent’ and the present situation of the social teaching design and find the problems in teaching, to provide ideas for designing the theme unit; the fourth part is designing the teaching design of this theme unit from four aspects:teaching objectives, teaching content, teaching process and teaching evaluation design; the fifth part is implementation and reflection of the teaching design, the paper design that analysis of the teaching design implementation and effectiveness, and teaching reflection, and finally put forward some thinking on the teaching design of situational teaching, that is, to determine the overall goal of teaching, create a reasonable teaching situation, stimulate the students’ desire to explore, cultivate students’ good habits, situation design, control communication and reflection process.
