New Course reform is focused on cultivation of the student capability for information collection and processing, new knowledge acquisition, problem analysis and resolving as well as communications and cooperation, and it is still required to pay attention to the learning interest of student, and motivate the learning enthusiasm of student; situational teaching becomes one of the hot topics of elementary education reform for satisfaction of new course reform requirement. From the point of view of combination of situational teaching and the course of moral character of Junior Middle School, the essay mainly explores the application of situational teaching in the course of moral character of Junior Middle School.Part I explains the significance of the application of situational teaching in the course of moral character from multiple points such as motivation of study interest and strengthening of knowledge, shedding light of the entity of student and escalation of the capability of student for independent learning,enhancement of the bilateral communications of student and teacher, and realization of the full sided interaction of the process of teaching; part II discusses the benefits of the application of situational teaching in class in terms of the compatibility of situational teaching and the course of moral character of Junior Middle School, as well as the actual practical application of situational teaching according to the contents of teaching of grade 8;targeted at different contents of teaching, the examples are shown and explored, which means that media is used for exhibition of situation, life is used for exhibition of situation, story is used for creation of situation,questions are adopted to develop situation, and activities are organized for showing situation, discussing the benefit of situational teaching in teaching.Part III is the reflection of the application of situational teaching in the course of moral character of Junior Middle School, study and analysis of the existingproblems of situational teaching in the application of the course of moral character in Junior Middle School, and as well as some improvements and explorations conducted based upon sorting-out and summarization.
