In the process of modernization and urbanization, the rural civilization and traditional moral culture with a long history of our country are gradually lost. The peasant’s traditional ethic is moving toward the marginalized zone gradually. Rural school is a very important place of transmitting the rural civilization and traditional rural ethic. However. the current moral education of rural school is away from the rural real life. As one of the most important ways of moral education to the student, moral education activity should be the important carrier of transmitting the rural civilization and traditional rural ethic. The current situation of rural school’s moral education activity presents some problems of urbanization, institutionalization and formalization and so on. How to carry out the rural school’s moral education activity? Is it necessary to inherit the rural ethic? This article attempts to make the rural ethic’s value regression in rural school’s moral education activity as the theoretical basis, analyze the lost of rural ethic in the rural school’s moral education activities, think about the rural ethic’s value in rural school’s moral education activity, explore how to design and put the rural ethic in the rural school’s moral education activity and make it play a better role.Rural school’s moral education activity can’t discard its original foundation and characteristic to imitate the urban school blindly. The rural school should take a local road. This article wants to explore a kind of ideal mode of rural school’s moral education activity:its moral belief and value orientation must keep consistent with rural life. Its content contacts with the rural ethic mostly. The rural ethic originated in the rural society, which is the essence of the great Chinese civilization of five thousand years; unity of man and nature, diligence, trust and assistance and ethic as its main content; the customs and habits, entertainment and lifestyle as its last carrier; which is the moral cultural form most closely related to the rural life and farmers most familiar to. It has important theoretical and practical values to rural school’s moral education activity. So it should be the most important content of rural school’s moral education activity. Modern ethic has brought some impact to the rural ethic and caused the transition of rural ethic in rural society. The expectation and future of Chinese rural school’s moral education activity is to find the path of the return of the rural ethic’s value on the basis of foreign traditional moral education experience. We should deeply exploit the outstanding moral education resource in rural ethic, combine the rural family and school into a dense network. So as to make the rural student can better draw the nourishing of traditional rural culture and ethic and have a deep emotion to their hometown, thus to lay a good foundation for the new rural moral construction in our country.
