In examining the Southwest Associated University which plays a very significant role on the history of higher education, the construction and development of the discipline of philosophy in Southwest Associated University can provide a valuable resource theory and successful experience for us now and be beneficial to the construction and development of the discipline of philosophy and the building of humanities and social sciences.It is based on the development of the philosophical disciplines, starting from the theory of disciplines and the academic community, analyzing the situation of three schools before the war and detailing the status of development of philosophy discipline. It also shows situations on the sustainable development of teaching and research institution, the rich teacher resources, the significant achievements of personnel training and the overall situation in each direction during Southwest Associated University.
