A Study On The Value Of Cultivating Textbooks For The Construction Of Chinese Textbooks In Primary Schools

The Ancient Elementary education has been responsible for enlightening and raising young children over hundreds of years in ancient China. Its role was regarded as a “holy foundation”. Among current studies on Ancient Elementary Education, the merits of its influences on Primary School Material selection are worth looking into.By studying the materials, we may gain a better understanding on Chinese Teaching.More importantly, it may throw some lights on Chinese teaching reform in China so that our traditional Chinese culture can be better inherited and promoted.This thesis reviews data to look into our Ancient Elementary Education Materials(AEEM) and then discusses current primary school language teaching materials. Furthermore it summarizes six basic types of AEEM and analyzes their feather in details, so as to explore the values and lacks of AEEM. Then by analyzing current primary school language teaching materials, this paper aims to find out a more effective and appropriate way to combine the AEED into Today’s Education.This paper focuses on discussing how AEEM could enlighten the construction and usage of Today’s primary school language teaching materials. Three implications can be drawn from the study: first, AEEM plays a very important role in guiding Today’s Material mostly in two aspects, namely presentation of the text and language practice; second, we should combine the advantages of the ancient Elementary education writing support materials so that to produce more open and dynamic ones for current children; third, based on the AEEM experience, the principle of today’s primary school language teaching materials should include both macro and micro aspects.Our Chinese education has been reforming and developing, this paper is expected to throw some light in considering material composing for Primary School.
