With the rapid development of information technology nowadays, our country increased investment in education informatization. It promoted the reform of foundation education. With the advancement of new curriculum reform, more and more people realize that curriculum resources are an important support of course and provide the required material for classroom teaching. In ethnic minority areas of our country, school education not only bear the responsibility of learning compulsory course knowledge of national basic education, but also bear the responsibility of inheritance and protection of minority culture. This topic combines minority culture with information technology curriculum resources organically together. It can offer information technology course curriculum resources, and can also spread ethnic minority culture at the same time.At present, although there are a large number of information technology curriculum resources based on minority cultures on the network, they are scattered and isolated. These resources have not a unified constraint specification, so when we are hard to find, share, and manage them. When students and teachers want to find resources on the Internet, they are all instant search, so the quality of the resources cannot be guaranteed. To solve this problem, we built an open and sharing information technology curriculum resources platform which based on minority cultures.We complete this subject mainly from the following several aspects:(1) The research of the metadata specification of the resources of information technology course that based on the minority culture. We study the characteristics of minority cultures in China and the existing education resource metadata specification at home and abroad. Based on above finding, we extend the application code of elementary education’s teaching resources metadata and constitute a new information technology curriculum resources metadata specification based on the minority cultural. This can not only describe the information of information technology curriculum resources, but also describe the cultural characteristics of ethnic minorities.(2) The construction research of visualization ontology of information technology course resources that based on the minority culture. We discuss a method of class diagram of UML expressing ontology, and carry on the analysis for the composition of information technology course and information technology curriculum resources based on ethnic minority culture. On this basis, we use extended minority culture information technology curriculum resources metadata connect knowledge of information technology course based on the minority cultural and information technology curriculum resources, and build a visualization the resources ontology of information technology course that based on the minority culture.(3) The research of the information technology course website that based on the minority culture’s realization. We realize this platform by using Visual Studio2010 as development tools of the premise and Microsoft SQL2008 as the background database. Based on requirement analysis of the platform, we make an overall design of this platform. On the basis of the metadata specification and visualization ontology of the resources of information technology course that based on the minority culture, we construct the website of it. This website can realized some basic functions, such as resource upload and download, resources retrieval, resources browse, resource evaluation and so on.
