Previous researchers indicated that the reform of teaching mode opens up new way to improve quality of teaching. Hence, based on the analysis of teaching and students learning statue in Xuandian No.1 Middle school, we compared traditional teaching method and “Five-step” method, which includes “guidance, practice, demonstration, comment and real-class test” with regarding to biology teaching.In this study, special embodiments were obtained by collecting the data of Five Steps of teaching model analysis. Subsequently, two group of biology students in Xundian No.1 middle school of 2015 year were given traditional teaching methods and “Five-step ”teaching model respectively. After six months of experiments, the students’ interest in learning biology, self-learning abilities and performance were evaluated in these two classed students. The data showed that compared with traditional teaching methods, five Steps teaching model can effectively improve the students’ interest in biology and self-learning ability and biological performance and also have significant effects.To conclude, the results proved that five-step teaching model play positive roles in our school teaching model in biology. In this research, there may exist some limitations, but the true aim is to find an effective teaching model for high school biology teaching. |
