The essence of history education is human emotion and the value of education. The new curriculum reform stressed the basic of history teaching. The middle school history education should combine historical events, historical figures, historical trajectory, dialectical analysis and transmission of knowledge, It realizes the values of knowledge and ability, process and method, emotional attitude. "How interested, people excited courageously",people are successful in frustration experience, growing in the setback and achieve success. In high school history teaching, "Historical setback stuff" enriched the content of classroom teaching. It is the typical cases of history teaching permeate setback education. At the same time it guides students to master the knowledge of history, pay attention to the cultivation of students’ humanistic quality, to deepen in the history of humanist, treat life, and the fate of mankind, to understand the humanistic spirit, cultivate healthy aesthetic temperament and interest, it pursues the beauty of real life, kindness and truth. It establishs the positive attitude toward life, shapes a healthy personality, cultivates strong will and the spirit of unity and cooperation. It enhances the ability of the setback and adapt to the environment. The historical discipline education and mental health education union, in high school history teaching material "historical setbacks" osmosis setback education, cultivating students’ humanistic spirit and personality. It has a very important practical significance. Taking history as a mirror,studying history is to accept and feel setbacks.
