The teaching mode of “explanation, activity, presentation,evaluation and quiz” created by Xundian No 1 Middle School is aimed at meeting the requirements on school education in modern society, and it is also the inherent requirement to carry outschool teaching reform. At present, there aremany researches on the teaching pattern of ideologicaland politicalcourse, but most of them are about certainaspect in the teaching process, and they are lacking in systematicness. Under the guidance of the modern theory of education, with the purpose of enriching and develop the suitable teaching practice of classroom teaching modes in Xundian in the gradual practice, this thesis applies “explanation, activity, presentation, evaluation and quiz”into the teaching of politics course.This thesis is divided into four parts. Firstly, it outlines the teaching mode of“explanation, activity, presentation, evaluation and quiz”. It states the specific content of this mode from the origin, connotationand features. Secondly, it elaborates the theoretical basis of this mode from the point of theoretical basis and designed principles.Moreover, it states the application of “explanation, activity, presentation, evaluation and quiz”. In order to verify the practical application of this mode, the writer selects one content from the Economic life,the Political life, Cultural life and the Philosophy of life, and the writer reflects the problems Finally, the writer integrates the problemsin the actual practice and the direction to improve the teaching mode will be put forward.Facts prove that the teaching mode of “explanation, activity, presentation, evaluation and quiz”not only arousesthe enthusiasm of the students, improves the students’ interests in learning, but it also lives up the atmosphere in the classroom. Most importantly, the students’ grades have been improved and it lays a good foundation for the full development of students.
