Ideological and political course of senior middle school can help students to build up the world view, the view on life and values correctly. Which plays a pivotal role for students' growth. However, the ideological and political class have little effect, because of its own characteristic and the effects of traditional teaching mode. Therefore, it made us to find ways to improve high school teaching effectiveness of ideological and political course and ensure that the new curriculum reform in high school goes in the smooth implementation. As a large social thought, Constructivism contains the thoughts about psychology and philosophical development, the learning concept what it advocates not only accords with the theory about man's cognitive stage and characteristics, but also has somewhat certain philosophical basis. Using constructivism as a theoretical basis to reform politics teaching in high school, is not only good for high school reform of politics teaching, but also enrich the application of constructivist theory in the specific disciplines.Change the styles of the teaching methods to reform ideological and political course of high school. Based on the reality, we should put forward some questions of relevance raised. Organizational learning activities must follow the Intellectual integrity; Listen to student's point of view and make use of them; evaluation of the studing of students in process of teaching. The implementation of Constructivism ideas in ideology and politics teaching in high school requires higher request for teachers, teachers not only need to improve their own quality, but also need to deal good with the stduents. Meanwhile, teachers should use the constructivism flexible, according to the teaching contents.
