Academic value is the learning activities of students for their ongoing general view. Academic value plays an important role in learners’ learning process and result. And academic value is one of the important factors affecting the behavior of individual learning. Academic value is directly related to students’ learning style and performance. High school is the important period of individual forming values.So, discussing the current situation characteristics and influence factors of middle school students’ academic value is particularly necessary.Due to the importance of rural education, combined with the characteristics of rural high school students with different from urban high school students, this study targeted on the rural high school students, further research on the basis of existing research present situation and characteristics of the rural high school students to academic value and influence factors is discussed in this paper.On the basis of literature and through questionnaire research methods and the statistical methodology of project analysis,factor analysis,this study designed the questionnaire of the influential factor of high school students’ academic value with high reliability and validity;and summarize the influential factors of college students through literature analysis,open-ended questionnaire and the ease study method,then analysis the current situation of high school students’ academic value.Finally using relevant research,regression analysis and structural equation modeling techniques,this study investigated systematically the main factor influencing the academic values of the high school students.Based on each research,the main conclusions are as follows:1.The influential factor of high school students’ academic value is a single-order structure of the seven factors,namely parent-child relationship,parents’ value,study quality,learning atmosphere,personal ideals,relationship between teacher and student and family expectations.The“Questionnaire on Influential Factors of the High School Students’ Academic Value ”designed in this research conforms to the standards of psychological measurement.2.Academic value outlooks of high school students appear diversity.In general,high school students’ academic values are medium and on the high side,a state of definite and positive.In the aspect of intentional academic value outlook,they care about the achievement realization most,and social promotion the least.The score from high to low involves:achievement realization,position pursuit,familial maintenance,social promotion.In the aspect of methodological academic value outlook,they care about obligation and normalization most,and interest and capability the least.The score from high to low involves:obligation and normalization,health,perseverance,academic success,personal development,relaxing and stability, interest and capability.3.There is significant difference in terms of position pursuit,achievement realization,social promotion,intentional academic value,obligation and normalization,academic success,health,perseverance,and academic value in the view of sex;In the grade,there is significant difference in terms of familial maintenance and relaxing and stability;In the school type,there is significant difference in terms of relaxing and stability,interest and capability,obligation and normalization,health,perseverance,methodological academic value and academic value;In the inhabited area,there is significant difference in terms of personal development;In the educational background of father, there is significant difference in terms of familial maintenance and obligation and normalization;In the educational background of mother,there is no significant difference in all terms.4.Among the seven influential factors,parent-child relationship,parents’ value,study quality,learning atmosphere,personal ideals,relationship between teacher and student and family expectations have direct impact on high school students’ academic value,study quality of the highest level, family expectations of the lowest level.The influence in descending order ranks as:study quality,personal ideals,learning atmosphere,parent-child relationship, relationship between teacher and student,family expectations.
