Over the past few years, national middle school in Dali prefecture has already built a relative stable teachers’ team with good quality, reasonable structure,proficiency in business, excellent psychological quality, law-abiding, dedicated spirit.The school make full use of teachers’ personality and there are more than 50% of teachers researching and opening the elective courses. In the practice of new curriculum reform, Dali national middle school is based on nationality knowledge and positively develops school-based teaching materials with a kind of modernity and international vision. It has successively complied language, geography, biology,history and other disciplines of school-based teaching materials. The “Dali poetry textbook” compiled by the Chinese teaching and research group is the carrier of national culture inheritance, which has a unique value and characteristics. It plays a positive role in the harmonious relationship between human and nature, building a bridge between students’ individual development and Bai prefecture and other aspects.Based on clearly understanding of Dali national middle school’s existing structure and practical application effect of school-based teaching textbook, this paper explains the significance of school-based textbook development and utilization;at the same time, students’ learning situation, teachers’ teaching status and Chinese textbook using status are analyzed in order to develop school-based textbook pointedly; finally, taken the Chinese school-based textbook “Dali humanity reader”development conception as an example, this paper will present the structure and content of the teaching material and put forward the relevant using ways. This paper is divided into five chapters:The part one is the introduction part. It mainly introduces the research reason,method and literature review.The first chapter shows the present status of Chinese teaching in Dali national middle school, students’ learning Chinese status and Chinese teaching textbook’s using status.The second chapter emphases on the significance of school research and using Chinese school-based textbook. The school-based textbook is the development and complement of the mainstream teaching material. Compared with the mainstream teaching material, it has more pointed targets, meeting the demand of local environment and school education, and remedying the shortcomings of the mainstream teaching materials. School-based teaching material development and using not only promotes the national characteristic for school establishment, but also conforms to teachers’ improvement. At the same time, it also conforms to the psychology of high school students’ Chinese study, stimulating students’ interest in learning and improving their Chinese accomplishment.The third chapter is the body of this thesis. It mainly discusses the conception of Chinese school-based textbook’s development and utilization in Dali national middle school. Taken school-based teaching material “Dali humanity reader” as an example,it shows the development theory basis, plan design and textbook content presentation.
