| Golf is a kind of attractive sports that can be enjoyed for while life. It is praised as one of the most fashionable and elegant sports. Playing golf makes is possible that people can not only keep fit and influence sentiment, but also improve their sports skills. Meanwhile, golf caddie is a need part of golf, who is the guarantee of golf’s ordered work and represent of club’s high quality. The works of golf caddie, such as managing the golf cart, selecting the golf club, judging the distance and direction, instructing the skill and recording the score, are significant. Thus, effective management of golf caddie matters a lot for the further development of golf club. In this paper, some golf clubs in KunMing were picked out as objects of the study. Several methods, such as document-date method, questionnaire method, interviewing method, field study method, and data-statistics method are used to research the management system of golf caddie in KunMing. Besides, the paper aims to analyze the problems limiting the management of caddie and put forward some solvable countermeasures and improved measures, which can be regarded as the theoretical foundations of golf caddie’s organization and improvement. Research results show that:To begin with, in KunMing, the age structure of golf caddie is inconsequence. Most of them are teens whose age is between 16 to 30. Besides, most of golf caddie aren’t educated very well. Among them, high-school and technical-secondary-school educated level takes up the most part. Furthermore, the development of caddie team is not balanced because of the sexual structure. Meanwhile, a plenty of caddie, who speak English as the main foreign language, aren’t able to communicate with foreign customers as a result of poor foreign language skill. Last but not least, as for the skill of playing golf, most of them are only able to play on the exercise floor or even unable to play at all.Furthermore, there are some problems in the management of golf caddie in KunMing, such as unclear inspection standards vague content, low monthly pay and so on. There aren’t consolidated standards in KunMing’s golf club. Additionally, caddie of golf clubs have no subsidies during national holidays, what they have just accident injury insurance. Furthermore, the arrangement of caddie’s rest is not reasonable or humanized. Caddie are always divided into small groups to rest and they just have one-day rest in a week. The reward of golf clubs is single, and punishment just fines and gain terminated. In order to improve the business level of golf caddie and stadium facilities conditions, all golf clubs in KunMing should adopt advanced and scientific abroad management and ideas on golf caddie’s cultivation. Clubs should pay attention to the construction of caddie teams, take flexible incentive measures and establish a scientific performance appraised system. Besides, governments should complete relevant regulations and laws on the management of golf caddie.At last, there are also some problems in operational system of golf caddie. First of all, the procedure of employment is not detailed enough. Secondly, the entry formality of caddie is out of organization. Meanwhile, the caddie often resign because of the workload, low welfare and exhaustion. Next, lacking of far-reaching and systemic plans and methods, the training time of caddie is limited and the methods are out of variety. Worse, there is no effective estimated system or inspection standard in caddie management. Last but not least, the training of intersectional post is absent. Thus, relevant government departments are supposed to come up with the standard of caddie’s employment and improve their education level, as well as the training system of intersectional post and cooperation between school and enterprise. |
