The function of quantifiers is mainly to show the amount of the unit and the action behavior of the thing.Chinese and Thai both belong to Sino Tibetan language family, have abundant quantifiers, but the rules of using quantifiers in two languages are not exactly the same. For example: in phrase of quantifiers for nouns, Chinese and Thai have different nouns, numerals and quantifiers order; collocation of nouns and quantifiers are not exactly the same. In teaching Chinese as a foreign language, quantifiers teaching is not only a difficult point for teachers, but also a major difficulty for Thailand middle school students who are learning Chinese.To understand the similarities and differences between Chinese and Thai quantifiers, and apply it to the teaching of Chinese quantifiers plays a very important role in the prediction of the errors of Chinese quantifiers in the middle school students in Thailand, and the analysis of the causes of errors and the improvement of teaching methods, it has very important significance to Chinese quantifiers teaching in middle school students in Thailand.This thesis analyzes the quantifiers of Chinese and Thai in contrast and the errors made by Thailand middle school students,especially the students in Waritchaphum middle school,during the process of learning Chinese quantifiers and analyzes the causes of errors,put forward the suggestions of Chinese quantifiers’ teaching method for middle school students in Thailand.This thesis is divided into four chapters:The first chapter of Chinese and Thai classifiers were classification and comparison analysis, and analyzes the similarities and differences between Chinese and Thai quantifiers from quantifier phrase word order and semantic category contrast;The second chapter analyzes the errors made by Thailand middle school students,especially the students in Waritchaphum middle school,during the process of learning Chinese quantifiers;The third chapter from Thailand students themselves, the teachers’ teaching, the compilation of the teaching materials, discusses the causes of errors in the process of learning Chinese quantifiers for middle school students in Thailand;The fourth chapter puts forward the suggestions on the teaching of Chinese quantifiers for the students in Thailand.
