Department Of Mathematics Study On The Theory And Practice Of Cultivating Students' Ability Of Problem Solving

From the point of view in fostering students'quality, this article gives "Problem Solving"──one of the most popular topic in the field of mathematical education a deep research . There are two parts including theory and practice. In the first part, it analyses the implication, psychological mechanism and educational function of problem solving; in the second part, it expounds deeply how to cultivate problem solving ability of students who are in mathematical department of normal university and offers some conceive plans and advice for the teaching of problem solving and shows some detailed suggestions from the writer's own teaching practice. At last, the teaching of problem solving as a part of the reform in mathematical education of normal university is a long practiced activity which needs a lot of inquiries, we should collect best ways and cooperate as far as possible, then it may bring great result to us.
