In educational history, the development of education and curriculum marchesforward hand in hand with the edition, form, content and option of teaching materials.Therefore, it is of important theoretical and realistic significance in the on-going reformof teaching materials to research and discuss its law and features during the period ofhistorical evolution from the standing point of history and explores the developingtrend.This paper includes four parts.Part 1: Teaching material is of multi-function and important position in schooleducation. Through the analysis of the present situation of teaching materials researchand the importance of theory construction, the article proposes the importantsignificance of researching the historical evolution of teaching materials.Part 2: Introduces the historical evolution of Physics teaching materials in ourgeneral senior high school and reveals the contrary developing relationship between theevolution of teaching materials and the changes in society .The evolution of teachingmaterials is inevitable requirement of social changes, and the social changes provide thenecessary environment for the reform of teaching materials. The development ofChinese Physics teaching materials is the product of integration of Physics and socialchanges.Part 3: Focuses on the analysis and assessment of the key teaching materialsemerged in the historical evolution of our general senior high school and concludes thecharacteristics formed during the period of evolution of teaching materials: theknowledge structure of teaching materials getting more vigorous, teaching materialsshould suit to the social development, the improvement of cognitive tactics of teachingmaterials, etc. Through crosswise analysis and comparison with foreign physicsteaching materials, it discusses the difference between domestic and foreign senior high2school physics teaching materials.Part 4: Looks forward to the developing trend of physics teaching materials in ourgeneral senior high school and focuses on offering the developing trend of 搕andemtype?physics teaching materials existed simultaneously with 揾orizontal type?one inour general senior high school from the angle of curriculum theory and cognitivelearning theory. The function of our physics as tool will be strengthened. Pay moreattention to learning process as the teaching materials are designed. Teaching materialsare being perfected.This article is a trial exploration of the Physics teaching materials in senior highschools, in which there might be some problems due to the limited time.and energy. Inorder to make it more perfect, I抎 like to make further effort to strengthen experimentalresearch and theoretical exploration.
