Com-based Network Multimedia Teaching System

Internet has bring in a revolutionary change in teaching methods. Both of the development of video/audio compressing technique and transfering protocal hi network impulse the the development of the online education. Basing on this foundation, we have designed a multimedia teaching system on network which can perform better than others for online education.Our system is built on COM. Using COM, the developing process gets easier and shorter with high performing quality.First, we provide some ways of implementing the necessary function of such system, and put them into contrast, from which we conclude that the best way is to use NetMeeting COM. Then we develop some assisting class for managing the COM interface. Finally we realised our system by using the COM object and the assisting class.
