A research on inference, innovation and self-values of university studentsobjective:!.To investigate the characteristics between inference .innovation and self-values of current university students. 2.Try to confirm theviewpoints of K. Fischer------we need some guidance to make the spurt inthe development of thinking 3.To explore the correlations among inference, innovation and self-values. Method: 443 college students from 1 to 3 grade were sampled .The instruments of this study were an experimental test of inferential and innovation and a questionnaire of self-values, result: l.The characteristics of inference and innovation of college students is normal , but the tendency decline to the lower side, on the other hand, as a whole the self-values is active. 2. There are significant differences in different departments, grade and gender , and there is significant difference between male and female students in self-values.3. K. Fischer's viewpoints was confirmed by the result of the research. 4. The result showed that the analogical inference correlated significantly with the other two inferences and innovation.5 . The result indicated that self-values correlated significantly with inference, especially innovation. Therefore, the college teachers should pay more attention to develop the thinking ability of university students by the way of enhancing guidance, emphasizing the training of analogical inference and guiding their self-values to achieve the development of thinking ability.
