Web-based Teaching Support System Research

Recently.with the rapid development of Internet,the World Wide Web(Web or WWW) not only becomes the principal information resource,but also becomes the core of net education. Developing the Web-based application program has become an important work of modern net education. The aim of this paper is to solve some applied problem and in the same time,accumulate some experience for developing apply system.A integral Web-based instructive system generic is composed of net-based course development system, net-based management system of teaching task, net-based support system of instruction and net-based resources management system.This paper research the design and enablement for the wed-based support system of instruction.In this paper.we begin with the theories and development of CAI and the condition analysis of the wed-based support system of instruction.By combining the characterization of web-based development and the thoughts of software engineering,we first analysis the requst of system in detail,and then discuss the design thought, global structure and functions of the wed-based support system of instruction .The system adoptes three-ply structure model, regards well expansibility.according the method of module.All system is composed of six module:courseware management , page studing , teaching discussion, guestbook, home work system and net-examination.The development based on ASP which has the specialities of orient object and easy expansibility and Microsoft Access,finally.we reset the Access to SQL server when we shall issue it. In this paper.we main disccused the speciality and application of pacing technology.include file upload, ActiveX programming and application, the development of upload.dll,OLE etc..In the sub system of net-examination,excuted the educational thought of dividing teaching and examination.In a word,in this paper.after comparing various net-based system of instruction.we shall propose a designing thought and a design scheme,study the usual main technology of web-based database development and develop a wed-based support system of instruction which having some value,and advise some task for next study .
