"The outline of the reform for school curriculum " definitely points out: We should change the status that emphasizes on studying by rote and tell students all the knowledge into a new status. That is to say, we should lead students to participate actively, inquire gladly and operate usually. Students should obtain the abilities of collecting and dealing with information, obtaining new knowledge. Students can also analyze questions, resolve questions, communicate and cooperate with others. But now we know that physics is a science based on experiments. And experiments play an important role in physics education. The idea of inquiry should be manifested in experiment teaching. We should stand out science inquiry. We should give students many kinds of inquiry topics during teaching process, give them plenty of inquiry chances, let them take part in inquiry activities and experience the inquiry process.Now days, information technology, especially multimedia and network is developing rapidly, which is improving a series of reforms on the contents, methods and modes of school education. How to take advantage of network and exert its supporting of physics experiment teaching, how to effectively integrate the network and physics experiment teaching, and how to combine the real experiment surroundings with network environment to develop inquiry learning are big problems to solve. The author has studied these questions. These researches aim at establishing network platform based on real experiment surroundings. And they have studied the choice, design, mode and technical realization of physics experiments based on the network.The thesis brings up the thought and learning pattern of designing inquiry physics experiment contents under the network supporting. It also summarizes contents choice and design principle of inquiry physics experiments. It discusses how to establish the network environment on technical field, develops a network platform of inquiry physics experiments, and advances some attentions in the established process.
