Inquiry Microscale Experiment Design And Research

Based on experiments is one of the important characters of chemistry. Experiment is very helpful in improving the level of students' scientific attainments. China has been busy preparing for the new curriculum reformmation since April, 2003, in order to change the mode of students' learning and cultivate students' innovation spirit as well as practice abilities through manifold inquiry activities, especially chemistry experiments.In order to serve for the secondary chemistry education, we tabled the concept of inquiry microscale experiment by analyzing our microscale experiment fruits of our chemistry education institute. Inquiry microscale experiment ,which combines inquiry spirit and microscale experiment , can not only cultivate students' inquiry abilities but also build up environment care consciousness and preciseness scientism. So inquiry microscale experiment can have more function in chemistry education.After the author theoretically analysed the feasibility of inquiry microscale chemistry experiment and designed some of them, we found that it is feasible for the research of inquiry microscale chemistry experiment. Then we summed up some of the general rules and procedures of inquiry microscale chemistry experiments. In order to find inquiry microscale chemistry experiment's impact on students, we set an elective course of inquiry microscale chemistry experiment for the junior students. We systematically investigate teaching aim, teaching content, teaching form and evaluation . All these is meaningful for the experiment teaching innovation. At last, we found inquiry microscale chemistry experiment is helpful for the students in cultivating scientific interest and reasonable thinking abilities, mastering scientific method, building up environment care consciousness and preciseness scientism.At last, we prepared good chemistry teachers for the new fundermental curriculum reformation.
