Modem time is based on classical mechanics, but the contemporary age would be based on systems science, especially "Three Theories" that are cybernetics, information theory and systems theory. They are all motive force of development in modern science area, including education. The article summarizes the theories of systems science, though documental research, inves-tigation and analysis, research of action, synthetic study and so on, and discuss its guidable sense for instructional media design. What's more, it sums up the principles and methods of instructional media design and puts forward a creative and workable procedure, that is necessary analysis, feasible analysis, environmental analysis, varietal selection, message presentation, feedback information collection and conduct. At same time, the article gives us an example to expound that instructional media design should select scientifically use rationally instructional media and multimedia by systems approach, according to the difference of instructional content, instructional audience and instructional environment. After that, it also advise to collect feedback information by several different channels so that to revise the original design on the basis of it. The ultimate aim is to make students fully exploit potentialities and develop in an all-round way-morally, intellectually and physically.
