The middle of 1980s with the development of research in non-linear scientific research, the research of Complexity become a very active subject in the world.Since then, complex system research became the frontier and hot issue in system of sientific research. CAS(Complex Adaptive System,CAS) which be set up by Holland in 1994 is important component of Complexity research.CAS is a novel Theory and Method,which give us edification with brilliance of intelligence,offer the peculiar modes of thought and wide vision to deal with the Complexity problem, and apply in science , humanities and so on.Instructional design is a process which is to obtain optimal results for the purpose of teaching, to learning theory, teaching theory and communication theory as the theoretical basis, using the system to analyze teaching problems, identifying teaching goals, establishing strategy to solve the problem of teaching programs, evaluating the pilot results and modify the program process.Teaching process is composed of many essential elements of teaching. So the process of teaching include complex relations between teachers and students, students with students, students and the external environment.General systems theory can not be fully rational to guide teaching design, Complex nature of science of complex adaptive system theory try to scan and analyse instructional design, with a view to build an open, rational model of instructional design for instructional design to provide a new research perspective, and thus break youngest guidance on the limitations of the instructional system repair The simplicity and closed nature of knowledge.This paper reviewed a large number of Nonlinear science,Complexity science systems theory,learning theory,Complex adaptive systems theory,Instructional design theory and other related literature, summarized the history and current status of instructional design and found that instructional design theory and practice was not enough, thus the introduction of complex adaptive systems theory as a methodology guide, Thus the complex adaptive systems theory as a methodological guide, in-depth analysising of complex instructional systems. complex adaptive system proposed based instructional design features, while learning from the previous instructional models, then,build a viable teaching design patterns. After that the application of this instructional design model and with other areas of the different instructional design models. With a view to teaching design theory provides a new understanding of perspective, the practice of teaching design to provide a guide.
