This dissertation summarizes Freire's key ideas of pedagogy of liberation from three aspects, and outlines concept system of pedagogy of liberation. On this basis, the dissertation situates the development of Freire's education thoughts in the frame of reference which consists of special historical background, social circumstances and knowledge resources, and respectively parses personal experience, cultural tradition, source of thoughts, practical experience and so on, so as to bring forth the complexity of interaction of several factors, and tries to induce certain mechanism of product of originally creative education thoughts.The author argues Freire had sought after a road of cultural breakthrough, which may offer the predicament of Chinese pedagogy some enlightenment..
