Chinese textbook is an important platform for the Chinese education and a means to fulfill Chinese education target, a material to apply Chinese educational function. The Compulsory Education ,Chinese Text book, Junior High Zhejiang edition (ZJ edition in short) is the result of the "one syllabus many editions" concept. It is a set of provincial textbook with its own unique characteristics.The article intends to analyze the textbook's coateuts, targets arrangement, advantages and disadvantages. Also, give the author's own suggestion of constructing educational target.The thesis consists of 4 parts. 1st part gives a summary of ZJ edition, including the reason of the reform, basic concept and process along with the overall target and annual target. 2nd intends to analyze the layout the textbook adopted, including the constitution of the reading and writing system, the association of the unit and volume and the arrangement of the exercises. The 3rd part put its emphasis on the textbook's advantages and disvantages. The intensification of the target purpose ,the application of basic useage, and ability of listening ,speaking and writing are the 3 advantages of the textbook; however, its selection of articles is not so representative, the writing drill is too formal, and the ability drill is not well arranged. The 4th part puts forward the designation of Chinese textbook's target: under the understanding of language ability , improving Chinese quality, in accordance with synthesis of Chinese and single educational target, show the grade of ability drill, and give the students own initiative development.
