Great change has taken place in China since the reform began. Era put a new challenge to education. In the future, we require people who can think more profoundly, can incisively accept new information and make correct decision, can talk and write and have some literacy. In Chinese teaching , we should make preparation for this aim. Reading teaching is an important part in Chinese teaching. Although reading and writing have consanguineous connection , reading is not merely serve for writing. Reading teaching is an independent subject. Reading is a perplexing mental activity, only if the student can be inspired to put their heart into reading can they really read and effectively train their reading ability. Under the direct of the new theory, this article want to think much of the mental operation and speech operation and the apperceive , comprehension , experience till the activity rule of creativity and the character of the students in their reading activity . This article want to expand the students ' verbal skill training domain ,and conceive reading mental skill training mode to let the students master the systemic knowledge about reading. Reading mental skill training lets the student become the subject in study. Systemic operation flow lets the student participate in the cognitive operation that is direct by the object and lets most students actively study and inquire. And the reading mental skill training can train the students' participation ability and the self - evaluation ability , let the students accustom themselves to self - reading and can effectively improve their reading ability.
