Reading is quite an important activity in human’s social life. Moreover, it is a main method and an important way for students to get knowledge. However, in author’s class, a few students with normal intelligence are obviously far behind their normal level in reading capacity because of dyslexia. Therefore, the author aims at researching into the individual case of child who is obsessed with dyslexia, analyzing the causes which led to dyslexia, trying to do something to improve his dyslexia. This research was started with some questionnaires to know about the individual’s reading interests and habits. Meanwhile the author made a table showing the knowledge level of the individual’s family to get further information about the knowledge background of his family’s three generations, analyzing and studying his previous education by interviewing his primary teacher on the phone, observing and studying his reaction on dyslexia by the means of reading experiments, comparison dictation and the analysis of composition and examination paper.By observing the individual case, recording it’s performance and documentary research, the author concludes the researching object missed the the critical period for language intelligence development as a result of the child’s migrant identity and limitation of his growth environment. Furthermore, the loss of communication and ignorance of his previous education led directly to the result that the child missed the right period for correcting his dyslexia. Besides, psychological factors and dyslexia interacted in his personal growth. Therefore the child’s achievements in reading are significantly lower than those of the same age and grade due to the above factors. The author is putting an effort into the research of improving the dyslexia of individual case, aiming at helping him to overcome the negative psychological factors and build up his sunny mentality; In the course of training, pay much respect to his growth pace, keep on language and reading practice. Despite the fact that the researching object is an individual case, the causes led to immigrating children’s developing dyslexia which the research suggested will be of good reference on other immigrating children and even normal reading disorders and also can be used for reference on how a teacher is able to fully grasp the Chinese reading status of the children with dyslexia and promoting students’ Chinese Learning.
